  • individual employment support
  • job search strategies, including resume and cover letter preparation
  • interview preparation and job readiness workshops
  • employment resource centre -- access to computers, internet, local labour market and office equipment

Training and Skills Development

  • trade and technical training -- basic carpentry, construction and skilled trades pathways
  • pre-health and professional training -- classroom programs to buid prerequisites toward careers like nursing
  • certification workshops -- short courses such as First Aid, CPR, food-handler, and digital literacy training
  • entrepreneurship support -- 8 week program to help start a business
  • digital literacy and essential skills training -- Microsoft Office, email, basic computing and career related digital skills

Education Support

  • academic upgrading and GED/OSSD support -- help earning high-school equivalency or prerequisite courses for further training
  • funding for books, supplies and transportation for students attending approved courses

Funding and financial assistance

  • financial support for new employment -- one-time assistance after getting a job
  • grants for Indigenous entrepreneurs
  • employer funding programs -- subsidies for employers to hire and train Indigenous trainees
