- Description
Provides a range of free mental health services for children and youth from birth to 17, as well as their families
Individualized services include:
- Caroline Familes First: a collaboration between the Caroline Family Health Team, Burlington Family Health Team and local pediatricians that provides an evidenced-based Wraparound model of care for families who are struggling with mental health needs
- Coordinated Service Planning: supports families who are involved with multiple services
- Crisis Supports: confidential Crisis Line provides immediate support for children and youth, their parents/caregivers, and community members
- Early Years Services: a multidisciplinary team dedicated to nurturing the holistic development of infants and children including community outreach, brief therapy, assessment, treatment and collaborations with caregivers
- Family Peer Support: available for both caregivers and youth, focusing on decreasing isolation and creating opportunities for building formal and informal supports, as well as connections with others
- Intensive Services: provides a
range of intervention and support services to high-need children/
youth (aged 6-18) and their families
- Psychology: assessments and consultations are considered for children and youth when there is a concern about learning, developmental, cognitive and/or social emotional functioning
- Therapy Services: provide assessment and treatment to infants, children, youth and families from infancy to 17 years of age
One Stop Talk, 1-855-416-8255
- provides single session counselling support through an integrated network of infant, child and youth mental health agencies across ontario, including ROCK
- offers children, youth (within 18 years of age) and their families immediate access to free mental health support
- ensures direct referral to additional service when needed
