Glen Abbey Branch library

Designated as a local cooling centre during times of extreme heat and a warming centre during times of extreme cold

Eligibility

Fitness Centre: 14+ years of age

Swimming:

  • patrons under 6 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or designate, at least 14 years of age and within arms reach at all times

    Swimming alone:
  • 7-9 years of age who pass the facility swim test, meet height requirements and additional requirements posted at pool
  • 10+ years of age may enter the pool area unsupervised
  • swimming with a buddy is strongly recommended
