- Designed to to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can engage in enriching activities, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose
- Activities are aimed at promoting cognitive health and emotional well-being
- Provides caregivers with needed respite, knowing their loved ones are in a nurturing and attentive setting
- programs are available Mon to Fri, from 8 am-4:30 pm
- registration can be for one to five days dependent on program availability
Milton Place:
- adjacent to Allendale Long Term Care Home
- accommodates 20-23 clients per day
- beneficial to community-based adults with disabilities and seniors who require mental and social stimulation, require assistance and/or supervision with their activities of daily living, and/or have caregivers who require caregiver relief
Friends Landing:
- adjacent to Allendale Long Term Care Home
- accommodates eight - ten clients per day
- geared to community-based, cognitively impaired seniors/adults who may exhibit wandering or exit seeking behaviour and may require a small group setting, and family caregivers that would benefit from relief/respite
Activities include:
- crafts
- card games
- bowling
- special outings
- music
- baking and cooking
- fitness
- games
- lunch and all refreshments are provided including special diets to meet participant's nutritional needs
- assistance with personal care, meal time and mobility needs is available
- hairdressing, barbering, foot care and bathing program are available at the Milton programs
The Adult Day program is also offered in Georgetown

- applicant must be eligible via the Ontario Health atHome referral
