An advisory body to Regional Council through the Health and Social Services Committee which has two main responsibilities:
Advisory- provides Regional Council and staff with advice on policy issues and services that affect Halton older adults

- provides opportunities to enhance knowledge and understanding of older adults' issues to Regional Council, staff, OAAC members and to the public on issues affecting older adults
