Halton Region Public Health leads efforts in Halton Region to prevent disease and optimize health for all citizens, which includes promoting immunization/vaccination, and monitoring compliance with provincial requirements for immunization/vaccination.
Halton Region Public Health distributes vaccines to health care providers. Staff also work with health care providers to help them to understand vaccine storage and handling requirements.
