- Description
- Provides individuals with rapid access to time-limited addiction care from any Halton Healthcare Services including three Emergency Departments and all inpatient units * clinic works in close partnership with Halton ADAPT
Services include:- assessment of substance use disorders and review of treatment options
- medications for alcohol and/or opioid use disorders
- overdose prevention education and take-home Naloxone kits
- management of withdrawal symptoms
- counselling
- collaboration and referral to community partners
