Volunteer Auxiliary providing services to the Milton District Hospital
- a registered charity with numerous fundraising initiatives
- funds raised are donated to the Milton District Hospital and used to purchase new equipment
- annual fundraisers include Strawberry Fair, rummage sale, Gift Shop and gift wrapping at the mall
- services include wayfinding, assistance on patient units and in clinics, emergency department, sewing and repairs, flower arranging, gift shop, tea cart for patients and visitors
- youth volunteer program giving teens 14 and older an opportunity to gain knowledge and volunteer experience
- Eligibility
Ages: 14 year(s) and up
- immunization history 2 step TB test required for all volunteers
- wait list may exist for high school students or adults/post-secondary students with evening weekend availability only applying to volunteer
- for applicants 18+ a Criminal records and Judicial matters check level 2 will be required prior to starting
