Spiritual care services are available to people of all faiths and spiritual perspectives, including:

• compassionate listening and companionship
• assessment of spiritual needs
• support during crisis situations
• connection to patient's faith tradition for religious rituals and support
• meditation space and sacred texts
• emotional and spiritual support for experiences of loss and grief, hope and healing
• weekly Christian non-denominational worship (Thursdays 11 am on the 2 North Complex Transitional Care Unit)

Faith leader, rabbi, minister, imam or other religious leader can also attend to patient's needs while they are in hospital * Roman Catholics seeking sacramental care such as Sacrament of Reconciliation and Healing (anointing) or the Eucharist can ask hospital staff to have the hospital's Main Switchboard page the on-call priest * Eucharistic visits from the local parish can also be arranged
