A chapter of a national, non-partisan, nonprofit organization committed to advocating for a 'A New Vision of Aging for Canada' social change that will bring financial security, equitable access to health care and freedom from discrimination
Chapter meetings include information to improve the quality of life of the aging population, guest speakers, social activities and CARP initiatives in the community- members, guests and community representatives are invited to attend
Activities include:
- promoting the rights and quality of life of mature Canadians
- ensuring that the marketplace serves the needs and expectations of that generation and provides value-added benefits, products and services to members
- building a sense of community and shared values among members
- Eligibility
- Members do not need to be retired, only need to be committed to wanting to help those who are seniors or wanting to ensure when they are seniors their needs are being met
