Description

Family services team composed of registered social workers and professionals who provide support to individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease * offers support and services to people with Huntington's Disease, people at risk, people with or without genetic mutation, caregivers and family members, community members

Services include:

  • information and education
  • individual short-term counsel, support groups
  • linkages to HD clinics, social services and community programs

The team also collaborates with other service providers to improve and expand existing services as well as increase awareness and understanding of the disease and support for advocacy
