The YMCA offers a variety of camps during the summer with activities like swimming, hiking, and field games at the following locations:
Tansley Woods Community Centre, 1996 Itabashi Way (Burlington):
Kidventure Camp, 6-12yrs:
- a weekly indoor/outdoor camp with a focus on hands-on experiments and science exploration
- campers will be introduced to a weekly guest speaker
Active Kids Camp, 6-12yrs:
- a weekly indoor/outdoor camp that introduces campers to a variety of sports and programming to keep your campers moving
Art Spark Camp, 6-12yrs:
- a weekly indoor/outdoor camp that encourages campers to explore their imagination through creativity and the arts
Christie Lake Conservation Area, 1000 ON-5 (Dundas):
- includes free busing from the Burlington area
Camp Chippewa, 6-13yrs:
- a weekly outdoor camp with opportunity daily for swimming and outdoor games
- children participate in canoeing, archery, and arts and crafts twice per week
Eco-Explorers Camp, 8-13yrs:
- a weekly outdoor camp focusing on nature education, science, leave no trace principles, and a variety of different wilderness survival techniques with opportunity daily for swimming and outdoor games
- children participate in canoeing, archery, and arts and crafts twice per week
Paddle Skills, 8-13yrs:
- a weekly outdoor camp where campers will learn the fundamentals of both canoeing and kayaking, including essential techniques like backpaddling, the draw stroke, the J stroke, proper paddle grip, and kayak control
- children participate in swimming, archery, and arts and crafts twice per week
Leaders in Training, 14-15yrs:
- LIT (Level 1) is an engaging program designed for participants to acquire camp related skills while learning
how to work as part of a team- Participants will learn about the YMCA and its core values and will participate in activities geared towards group management, activity planning and team building
- All campers will complete volunteer hours supporting a camper group during the second week of the program
- LIT (Level 2) enhances the learnings of Level 1
- While canoeing, swimming and playing games, participants will also learn the following skills through fun, creative sessions and hands-on experience
- Participants will build on their skills and complete a placement within a specialized camper group in the second week of the program to develop their group management and leadership skills

Helping Hands Inclusion Support Program, 6-15yrs:
- 1:1 support that enables your child to be included in all aspects of regular camp programming
- YMCA Helping Hands staff are trained to attend to the unique needs of children with physical or developmental disabilities including personal care and safety-while facilitating friendships, skill development, independence and fun
