- Description
- Supports people at risk or living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) * clients will have access to a respiratory therapist/certified respiratory educator, registered kinesiologist and registered dietitian * the goal of the program is to improve the quality of life for people living wih COPD
Services include:- breathing test
- one-on-one counseling (including self management education, healthy eating, physical activity)
- smoking cessation program
- individual and group exercise
- pulmonary rehabilitation
- COPD Virtual Care Groups - twice a week
- COPD Support Group - virtual/in-person on last Tuesday of each month from 1:30pm-3pm
- Eligibility
- People at risk or living with COPD over the age of 18 years old
