Provides non-emergency assisted transportation for individuals who are physically or cognitively disabled * offers continuous companion services for individuals who may need additional help or supervision * wheelchair transportation staff all have standard first aid and CPR/AED level C
- passengers are accompanied to and from their appointment and during the wait time
- no wait times for pick up and return for appointments
- will get passengers to their appointment on time and be there when the appointment ends
- wheelchair can be provided if required
- Eligibility
People who are able to sit upright in a wheelchair and are not likely to be in need of medical attention during transport
Residency Requirements: Burlington, Milton, Mississauga West, and Oakville * will provide rides from the listed areas to Hamilton and Toronto as needed- Application Process
