Day program for those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia
Provides specialized social, cognitive, physical, creative activities, and recreation therapies such as horticulture, music, and pet therapy * staff trained in dementia specific care * transportation is not included in the program fee * virtual programming available- secure environment
- maximizes client independence
- structured exercise routines and sport games
- special events and themed days
- guest speakers and entertainers
- discussion groups and word games
- art projects such as painting, crafts
- caregiver respite
- assistance with eating, walking, toileting and medications (no injections)
- nutritious meals and snacks (including special diet accommodations)
- programs adapt to changing abilities
- foot care services available for an additional fee
- transportation is not included in program fee
