Eight short stay overnight respite beds located in Patty's Place * minimum stay is 2 nights, maximum stay is 14 nights in a row * can book up to a total of 24 nights per calendar year, capped at 5 weekend stays * 8 private bedrooms

• trial stay of two nights must be completed before a longer reservation can be booked
• trial reservation can be booked online
• stays must take place within 4 months of booking
• expect to spend about 30 minutes with staff at check in and check out to review family member's needs and their stay
• reservations cancelled within 72 hours of the stay will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee per night booked

Guest criteria:

• resident of Halton or Mississauga
• living with a cognitive impairment diagnosis
• able to cope in a social environment
• able to weight bear and only needs minimal assistance from staff during transfers
• poses no serious risk of harm to other guests or staff members
• is a non-smoker
• medications needs can be met by staff and provided in a blister pack
