As of May 1, 2025, care-A-van service will be free for all registered adult users with a PRESTO card
A service for people with disabilities who are unable to use conventional transit
- residents must register to use the service and fulfill the eligibility requirements
- passengers needs are met through accessible vehicles
- service is supplemented with local taxi providers
- Eligibility
- Any resident who has completed an application for the service and met the eligibility requirements (information provided in the application form will be used to determine eligibility)

- application form is available online
- applications must be certified by a medical practitioner and submitted for approval
- once registered, passengers may book a ride via telephone with the care-A-van office, via automated phone, web, or app
- registration can be on a temporary or permanent basis
- Children, youth, adults and seniors ride free with a valid PRESTO card
