- Foot care services for individuals living with Type 2 Diabetes * early intervention, regular monitoring and treatment of foot related concerns
Service include:- foot care education
- foot risk assessment
- basic foot care treatment including nail care, corns and calluses reduction
- consultation and referrals to chiropodists in high risk situations
- Eligibility
- Must be a client for the diabetes program (DECNET) and referred by a DECNET nurse educator
